En estos días, además de hacer frente a la pandemia del coronavirus y todo lo que esto podría implicar (trabajar de forma remota, balancear prioridades, toque de queda, educación en el hogar, etc.) tuve que hacer frente a las heridas no curadas de mi matrimonio anterior. Heridas de hace más de 20 años. Heridas que desafían mi paz, mi autoestima, mi sentido de valor, mi fortaleza, compasión y vulnerabilidad.¿Cómo se le puede desear bien a alguien, si sientes que estás siendo pisoteada, por la forma en que la otra persona te trata y te habla?En estos días, donde lo peor y lo mejor sale de nosotros, elijo dejar salir lo mejor, elijo perdonar y con compasión, entender que un corazón herido lo que puede generar es sufrimiento y desearle sanación.

On these days, in addition to coping with the coronavirus pandemic and all that this could entails (working remotely, shuffling priorities, curfew, homeschooling, etc.) I had to cope with unhealed wounds from my previous marriage. Wounds from more than 20 years ago. Wounds that challenge my peace, my self-esteem, my sense of worth, my courage, compassion and vulnerability.
How can you wish someone good, if it feels like you are being stepped on, by the way the other person treats you and speaks to you?
On these days, where the worst and the best comes out of us, I choose to let out the best of me, I choose to forgive and with compassion, understand that what a wounded heart can generate is suffering and wish the other person healing.
