At this age./ A esta edad.

I don’t like to use the phrase “at this age”, yet I have come to learn that “at this age” faster, is not better. Time has become a value of value to me.  Life would not unfold and be savored if it was not by time. The time that is needed to conceive a baby, the time that it takes to grow a seed into a tree. The time that is needed to savor a meal.

Nowadays we live in such a rush to do things fast, and we are pushed by everything and everyone around us, as is that is the "right way" of doing things.  That might be the right way for some, yet “at this age” I have decided to be true to my values and value time. Moment by moment, I have decided to be aware of the speed imposed by society for our “survival” and choose:  to take the time.  “At this age” I determine the pace, a pace that creates possibility, that connects, that allows me to savor what needs to be created.

No me gusta usar la frase "a esta edad", sin embargo, he aprendido que "a esta edad" más rápido, no es mejor. El tiempo se ha convertido en un valor de valor para mí. La vida no se desarrollaría y se saborearía si no fuera por el tiempo. El tiempo que se necesita para concebir un bebé, el tiempo que lleva cultivar una semilla en un árbol. El tiempo que se necesita para saborear una comida.

Hoy en día vivimos con tanta prisa para hacer las cosas rápido, y somos empujados por todo y todos a nuestro alrededor, ya que es la forma "correcta" de hacer las cosas.  Esa podría ser la forma correcta para algunos, sin embargo, "a esta edad" he decidido ser fiel a mis valores y valorar el tiempo. Momento a momento, he decidido ser consciente de la rapidez impuesta por la sociedad para nuestra "supervivencia" y elegir:  tomar el tiempo. "A esta edad", determino el ritmo, un ritmo que crea posibilidad, que conecta, que permite saborearme lo que necesita ser creado. "Que el tiempo transcurrido permita el dominio de lo que valoramos". Aidelisa
